The main feature of Design 3 is its pronounced sculptural segments. The flowing ribs give the pumpkin a more sophisticated, designer appearance while preserving the recognizable classic pumpkin silhouette.

The geometry is created primarily through bending rather than stretching the material. This makes the project especially suitable for cardstock and EVA foam and allows the same design to be adapted to different materials and fabrication techniques.

Despite the textured appearance, the pumpkin is relatively simple to assemble. Give each part its curved shape before joining the edges, then gradually build the complete form.

It works beautifully with cardstock, textured paper, EVA foam, and other flexible sheet materials.
