Papercraft Greek Column Template 3 Elements– Printable & SVG-DXF, for CNC-Ready
US$10
Please read the description below before you start building — it will help you prepare properly and avoid mistakes.
Create a realistic Greek column as a stunning decor piece, pedestal, or part of a larger installation. This is a digital template for making a 3D papercraft column: the assembly is straightforward, but the project itself is quite large and detailed, so be prepared for a lot of cutting and gluing.
I recommend at minimum printing on a photo printer directly onto thick cardstock, or even better – using any cutting equipment you have. The template works perfectly with a plotter or laser cutter. All projects and file formats mentioned below are included in the set.
What’s Included
Printable PDF templates for A4 and US Letter formats
DXF and SVG files for your cutting machines
Versions with glue tabs (for paper/cardboard)
Versions without tabs (ideal if you want to make the column out of plywood, plastic, or metal)
You can scale the model to any size you like. I provide a standard size at 100% scale, but you can easily enlarge the column if needed.
Recommended Materials & Reinforcement
Cardstock: 300+ gsm (or similar density cardboard)
For extra strength:
Reinforce the inside with expanding foam
Coat the outside with epoxy resin if you want a super-strong, durable piece
The finished column works great as a stand or pedestal, and can also be used as an element in a larger construction — for example, an arch or a full ancient ruins photo zone.
Structure & Difficulty
The column consists of three main elements:
Top section – the most complex part
Bottom section – less complex
Middle section – very, very simple
To add height, simply duplicate the middle element as many times as you need.
This project is not the easiest choice for complete beginners, but the instructions are very clear, and the assembly order is carefully thought out. If you follow the numbers on the parts, you will always have access to the gluing areas, which is extremely important.
For example, the closing elements are designed as discs with a hole in the center, giving you access to the inside throughout the entire assembly process. Only at the very end, if needed, do we close everything with a solid disc. This way, you don’t need any special tricks or advanced skills — just patience and time.
The size indicated is for a product with 4 segments: the upper, two middle and lower (as in the photo)
