Scalable design

The base size of the whale is:

Upscaling is strongly recommended — larger scale makes assembly easier and more comfortable, while significantly increasing visual impact.

Assembly

The model is assembled by bending parts without stretching, allowing the use of rigid materials.

The structure is logical and repeatable, making it suitable for both individual builds and larger projects.

Materials

Recommended for standard size:

• Cardboard with density of 300 gsm or higher

For larger sculptures:

• Use denser materials or add internal reinforcement

Gluing & reinforcement

• Masking tape
• Aluminum (silver) tape
• Hot glue

The structure can be reinforced internally or coated with epoxy resin for additional strength.

Finishing

After assembly, the sculpture becomes an excellent 3D canvas for painting and creative finishing.

You can apply any surface treatment — from minimal clean finishes to bold artistic designs.
